The aim of the Young Rutherfords programme is to excite students about science by offering them high-interest science courses. The programme is specifically aimed at home educated students with hands-on activities and experiments that can easily be done at home.
The courses are based on the Australian and New Zealand school science curriculum.
The Young Rutherfords programme is offered at three different levels as outlined in the table. Note that the age ranges are intended as a rough guide only. You can choose which level to enrol in.
There are two units on offer each school term at each level. Some primary level Double Helix units are double units and run for a full school term.
